Earlybirds Catch The Prize

17 October 2018

Time is running out to be in to win an Early Bird prize when you enter the 2019 New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards.

Online entries don’t close until midnight November 16, however those that enter before midnight on October 20 will go into the Early Bird Entry Prize Draw and be in with a chance to win prizes from Honda.

Early Bird entrants in the Dairy Trainee category could win a Honda Lawnmower valued at $1000, Dairy Manager Early Bird entrants have a chance to win Honda Lawnmower and Blower valued at $2000 while Early Bird entrants in the Share Farmer category could win a Honda motorbike valued at $4200.

Entries in the 2019 New Zealand Share Farmer of the Year, Dairy Manager of the Year and Dairy Trainee of the Year competitions are now being accepted online at www.dairyindustryawards.co.nz until midnight November 16.

“It’s fabulous to see the entries coming in steadily and knowing that they are all eligible to win a prize from Honda,” says Awards General Manager Chris Keeping. “Early Bird entrants have a chance to have the best-looking lawns in their community and the Share Farmer Early Bird winner will be riding high on their new Honda motorbike!”

The New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards aims to give entrants the chance to challenge themselves, connect with others, earn a regional or national title and to share in substantial regional and national prize pools.

The Awards are supported by national sponsors Westpac, DeLaval, Ecolab, Federated Farmers, Fonterra, Honda Motorcycles, LIC, Meridian Energy, and Ravensdown along with industry partners DairyNZ and Primary ITO.

More information on the three competitions can be found at www.dairyindustryawards.co.nz.

The winners will be drawn from eligible entrants on 20 March 2019 and notified by phone and online at www.dairyindustryawards.co.nz on 21 March 2019.
