More Regional Dairy Industry Awards Finalists Announced

16 February 2017

The next round of the 2017 New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards regional finalists have been announced.
Auckland/Hauraki, Waikato and Bay of Plenty announced their finalists this week, after completion of the preliminary judging.

The New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards are supported by national sponsors Westpac, DairyNZ, DeLaval, Ecolab, Federated Farmers, Fonterra Farm Source, Honda Motorcycles, LIC, Meridian Energy, and Ravensdown, along with industry partner Primary ITO.

General Manager Chris Keeping says judges have been extremely impressed with the quality of entrants this year.
“The Dairy Industry Awards aren’t just about winning, they are about education, networking and growth. There is a vibrant and positive feel about the dairy industry in New Zealand at the moment, and the high-standard of entrants that we are seeing reflects that attitude.”

Regional winners will be announced at Regional Awards Dinners around New Zealand. Tickets are still available for these dinners and can be ordered online at this website.

Regional Winners progress to the National Final and are judged by a national judging team to determine the national winners and placegetters of each competition. National winners will be announced on Saturday 6 May 2017 at Sky City Auckland.
